Metro DC PFLAG promotes equality and the well-being of lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer, and questioning (LGBTQ) people and their families through support, education, and advocacy.

Fairfax PFLAG hosts a number of age-appropriate groups for youth and adults.

TransGender Education Association (TGEA). TGEA seeks to serve the needs and interests of all the people in the gender community through advocacy, support, and education. TGEA holds Second Fridays, a no-cost monthly facilitated adult, parent, and teen support group along with other supports.

NoVA Prism Center is a private library and community center serving the Northern Virginia LGBTQIA+ community through providing access to educational and community resources highlighting LGBT+ lives, bodies, and history, with a focus on supporting LGBTQIA+ folks of all ages and multiply marginalized communities in the region.
